Derek visits Peter here in 1x04 - Magic Bullet and 1x06 - Heart Monitor. 

Later in Season 1, Derek and Stiles visit the Long Term Care facility at Beacon Hills Hospital and find Peter and Nurse Jennifer there.^† Perhaps all part of the hospital's mysterious rebranding?
