He kills Carrie Hudson by pretending to save her from Violet and assisted in killing Demarco by ordering a keg for him to deliver to Lydia's lake house.
Garrett tries to get Scott to stop Violet's transfer to a federal facility by having him attack Rafael McCall and Sheriff Stilinski's vehicle, but the berserkers beat him to it. A berserker then runs Garrett through, killing him.
She attempts to use it on Scott, but he gets his hand in the way, and the wire won't cut through him. He knocks her out against the wall. She is arrested, and Rafael McCall recognizes her thermo-cut wire necklace as the weapon of choice in a number of open murder investigations. Garrett tries to hatch a plan to rescue her while McCall and Sheriff Stilinski transfer her to federal lockup, but Kate attacks their vehicle first. She kidnaps Violet and subsequently kills her when she doesn't reveal anything about the Benefactor.
